SPIKER CLUB MINUTES

MEET THE TEAM, AUGUST 18, 2004

Present: Coaches, Officers, Players & Parents

Sign in at the door and pick up of packets. The packets included line judge/concession schedules, Panera Bread order forms, 7-12 rosters and treasurer report.

Kara introduced herself and started the evening speaking about pay to participate, travel release forms for Saturday games, team expectations and policies.

Followed by:

Introduction of Coaches:

• Coach Boyer - 7^th - Introduction of 7^th grade team
• Coach VanGundy - 8^th  - Introduction of 8^th grade team
• Coach Prato – Freshman - Introduction of Freshman team
• Coach Kuhner – Junior Varsity - Introduction of Junior Varsity team
• Coach Jackson & Coach Garinger – Varsity- Introduction of Varsity team

Introduction of Officers:

• Co-Presidents: Sue Drees & Diana Myers
• Vice President: Mary-Ann Grundey
• Treasurer: Cheryl Boggs
• Secretary: Michele Owens

Cheryl gave us her treasurers report and spoke on behalf of the fundraisers.

Mary-Ann spoke asking for volunteers for JV/V Quad. Also went over line judging and concessions.

Diana asked for Junior High Rep., Freshman Rep. and JV Rep., she also explained the Panera Bread fundraiser. And asked for volunteers to run the clock and do the books at the Jr. High.

Coach Jackson then broke into groups with Jr. High and High School, handed out folder packets containing information on game and practice schedules, maps to away games, picture envelopes and team rules. Kara went over the packet and ended the evening.
